She addressed the complexities of a divorce sale and an opinionated Seller. Julie was super-focused on the many tasks needed to prepare our home for sale. Her team at Compass ensured that all tasks were promptly addressed. She kept us informed daily of all the work being done. Her network included inspectors, painters, floor finishers, plumbers, cleaners, repairmen and even an arborist, who all provided quality service at a reasonable cost. We were impressed by the stagers for indoors and out, photographer, videographer, and web marketing specialist. Julie helped us prepare Seller disclosures to address all the information a buyer could want in making their decision. Throughout the transaction, she was charming and persuasive in addressing neighbor and potential buyer concerns. I was surprised at the generous offers she obtained – more than half a million dollars above our asking price. Julie actually found a rental house in our neighborhood, for my daughter. and suggested movers to make sure the transition was smooth. She even brought lunch for us to share on moving day! Julie provided the most excellent service I have ever experienced, compared to other full-service agents. After 26 years, we decided it was time to leave our 4-story home in the Claremont Hills. We wanted someone with specific neighborhood familiarity. Ironically, we turned to the same agent who sold us the house in 1995. Not based on nostalgia, thank you. Julie Nachtwey compared very positively based on her activity in our market.
