Welcome to Rockridge
Rockridge is a residential neighborhood in Oakland, with an extensive commercial district along College Avenue. It’s named after an outcropping of rock along one border. Rockridge is generally defined as the area east of Telegraph Avenue, south of the Berkeley city limits, west of the Oakland hills, and north of the intersection of Pleasant Valley Avenue/51st Street and Broadway. The neighborhoods include large homes built between 1920 and 1950, small bungalows, cottages, and multi-family units. Rockridge Bart serves the local population and surrounding areas. Also well-known is the Claremont Country Club.
